CRIX International will offer an electronic information exchange for everyone involved in clinical research. Such an exchange will provide faster, less expensive, and completely secure alternatives to current approaches to the exchange of clinical research information. Historically, the life sciences industry has faced numerous challenges in collaborating across organizational boundaries. The broad adoption of the CRIX Collaborative Platform across the community will create a shared knowledge base, increased opportunities for collaboration, and the efficiencies of scale afforded through centralization. Unleashing the power of a shared technology platform will ultimately allow for new research possibilities.

CRIX International has been carefully organized to support this mission. A not-for-profit organization, CRIX International will govern the exchange. We will select and certify an independent, secure, operator to deliver hosting services and applications to the CRIX Community. This separation of governance from operations enables participation from both government agencies and private organizations. Through broad stakeholder participation from Advisory councils and Special Interest Groups, CRIX International is able to leverage the vast experience of the CRIX Community to define, develop, and deliver valuable services on the CRIX platform.
