Collaborative Platform

The CRIX International information exchange will function as a collaborative environment for the creation, exchange, and management of clinical research information and regulatory product information. All CRIX services will be available through a web-based portal that will provide users with a common interface to access our entire suite of services. This holistic approach to service delivery allows for a seamless user experience.

The backbone of this portal is a secure, standards-based electronic platform that consists of low-cost, feature-rich solution components and tools that provide business functionality. The platform will allow IT Service Providers to build extensions that meet additional business needs for the CRIX Community.

Initially, the collaborative platform will provide an array of functionality where members of the CRIX Community can:

  • Register to use the platform
  • Opt to receive identity assurance certificates
  • Sign and upload documents
  • Send e-mail
  • Create workspaces for teams of registers users to exchange data

Interested members of the public may also register anonymously to access functionality and information available without exposure of personal information.

CRIX International has selected Northrop Grumman to provide operational support-- including hosting, security, scaling, credentialing users and help desk support--for the CRIX platform, which will be fully operational in early 2008.
