Spontaneous Adverse Event (AE) Data Capture with Retrieve Form for Data (RFD) Capture
CRIX International is working with industry, a healthcare team, electronic health record solution vendors and CDISC to prototype and support in production this hosted service, which will allow for capture of AEs from within Electronic Health Record (EHR) applications in use at medical provider sites. In doing this, CRIX International is supporting a broader goal to improve the way in which spontaneous reports are collected, completed and delivered. The CRIX RFD initiative is specifically tasked with making the reporting process a natural and "low effort" process that takes place at the point of care of the patient. The CRIX team's approach to applying the RFD standard is unique in offering a "zero footprint" workstation capability and a specification that requires minimal effort for integration with EHR solutions.
