FIREBIRD Next Generation (FBNG)

CRIX International is currently enhancing the National Cancer Institute's (NCI) FIREBIRD, an open source solution that functions as a global investigator registry for commonly referenced regulatory submission data. The CRIX solution will leverage the capabilities of the Collaborative Platform, including the Investigator Registry, open source content management, and business process management components, to provide for an enhanced service that meets additional industry needs. The CRIX solution will allow for sponsor-defined workflow, increased document support, and digital signature of non-structured PDF documents.

CRIX International also plans to draw upon the NCI's FIREBIRD pilot experience for new service initiatives, such as patient matching and international study registration, which can be provided on the Collaborative Platform.
